The olive harvest has officially started in the Mediterranean 🫒

Spain is currently the leading country in the Med region, with a third of the world's olive harvest. Last month we visited Jaén and Baeza in Andalucía, which has with 70,000 olive trees the largest olive groves on the planet and the largest production of extra virgin olive oil.

On our drive from Granada to Baeza we saw the landscape changing and the amount of olive trees increasing with each kilometer. Once we arrived we found ourselves in the middle of an endless sea of olive trees. Here are some impressions we want to share with you.
