Another special, this time, is the cuisine of the Levant. This eastern part of the Mediterranean reveals a whole new world with 1001 flavors and ingredients and regarded as the new food trend par excellence. We learn all about ouzo and raki, the traditional drinks that really pack a punch, and visit a family in Istria who have devoted themselves entirely to olive production. In Malta, we let ourselves be seduced by the sweet strawberries and learn why they even have their own festival here.

Our round trip begins in France, where we visit an ecological fish farm and then on to beautiful Albania, which is still considered a real insider tip. In Sicily, we visit the filming locations of the famous White Lotus series and finally explore the small and lesser known Greek island of Spetses with its glorious past.
