Sailing in Spain
Spain’s Mediterranean coast stretches more than 1,700 km from the French border in the north to Tarifa on the Strait of Gibraltar in the south. The coast is easy to navigate and makes day trips from marina to marina possible. The Balearic Islands, a complex of eleven islands, offer numerous anchorages and rich sailing areas that are accessible year round. Sailors and visitors are particularly familiar with the four largest islands: Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera.
