1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions of Sale (“Terms”) govern the purchase of digital products, coaching services and consulting services offered by The Mediterranean Lifestyle through www.themediterraneanlifestyle.com (the “Website”).

By placing an order through the Website, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms.

These Terms should be read together with our Legal Notice, Website Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Health & Wellness Disclaimer, all of which form part of the contractual relationship between you and The Mediterranean Lifestyle.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable Spanish or European Union legislation.

10. Coaching and Consulting Services

Coaching and consulting services are educational and informational services designed to support personal development, healthy lifestyle habits and wellbeing. Coaching and consulting services do not create a doctor-patient, therapist-client or healthcare provider relationship.

They do not constitute:

medical treatment;
nutritional therapy;
psychotherapy;
psychiatric care;
diagnosis;
any regulated healthcare service.

Coaching sessions are provided remotely unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Appointments will be arranged directly between The Mediterranean Lifestyle and the client.

Clients are responsible for ensuring they have:

a reliable internet connection;
a suitable device;
a quiet environment in which to participate.

Sessions begin and end at the agreed time.

If a client joins late, the session will still conclude at the scheduled end time unless otherwise agreed.

The Mediterranean Lifestyle reserves the right to postpone a session where circumstances beyond our reasonable control prevent the session from taking place. In such cases, a new appointment will be offered as soon as reasonably practicable.

11. Coaching Sessions: Rescheduling and Cancellations

Clients may request to reschedule a coaching or consulting appointment by providing at least 24 hours’ notice.

Where sufficient notice is provided, reasonable efforts will be made to arrange an alternative appointment at a mutually convenient time.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or appointments that are missed without prior notice, may be considered completed and may not be eligible for rescheduling or refund, except where mandatory consumer protection legislation requires otherwise.

If The Mediterranean Lifestyle needs to cancel or reschedule a session, an alternative appointment will be offered.

12. Customer Responsibilities

By purchasing a product or service, you agree to:

provide accurate and complete information;
use purchased materials only for permitted purposes;
participate respectfully in coaching or consulting sessions;
follow reasonable instructions relating to access and delivery;
maintain the confidentiality of any login details or access information provided.

You acknowledge that the effectiveness of coaching and educational services depends on your own participation, circumstances, commitment and implementation.

The Mediterranean Lifestyle does not guarantee specific personal, professional, health or lifestyle outcomes.

13. Digital Product Licence and Permitted Use

When you purchase a digital product from The Mediterranean Lifestyle, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to access and use that product for your own personal purposes.

Purchase of a digital product does not transfer ownership of the product or any intellectual property rights.

Unless expressly authorised by us in writing, you may not:

copy or reproduce the product beyond reasonable personal use;
share the product with another person;
distribute the product online or offline;

sell, resell, licence or sublicense the product;

Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of any intellectual property belonging to The Mediterranean Lifestyle.

15. Use of Artificial Intelligence Tools

Our digital products, educational materials and other content are protected intellectual property.

You may use purchased materials for your own personal learning and reference.

You may not upload, reproduce or provide our materials to artificial intelligence systems, databases or automated tools for the purpose of:

creating competing content or products;
training artificial intelligence models;
reproducing substantial portions of our materials;
making our content publicly available.

This does not prevent reasonable personal use of technology for accessing, organising or studying materials you have lawfully purchased.

16. Right of Withdrawal for Consumers

If you purchase as a consumer, you may have a statutory right of withdrawal under Spanish and European Union consumer protection legislation.

The general withdrawal period for distance contracts is 14 days, unless a legally recognised exception applies.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights granted to consumers under Spanish or European Union law.

17. Refund Policy
